As an artisan of the Shuswap, I bring together my music and my intimate connection with nature to my woodworking to create unique pieces. From myoriginal intarsia work to the logscapes, I depict nature from my viewpointand strive to satisfy the inner craving for being close to nature.       I've had my own home-based business since then, and have designed and drafted the plans for a number of homes in the Shuswap.       My harps are a unique combinaton of my love of playing musical instruments and working with wood. You can also email me at: info@juliaswoodworks.com       Eagle - Intarsia Pictures in Wood   The Plunge  3' x 4'         Grebe Dance Mirror - Intarsia   Depicts the mating dance of the grebe in the bay of Salmon Arm 16" x 20"         Horse Logging - Intarsia      A big part of my growing up was logging with horses 3' x 2'         Log Scapes   The beauty of nature with a unique 3-dimentional look, portraying images of wildlife, country cabins and wilderness lakes.         Resting Box Book Case   With pre-planning, you have given  the gift of consideration to your loved ones.  They will have fewer decisions to make after your parting.  You get the added benefit of the use of your coffin as a bookcase with removable shelves.  Each resting box/bookcase comes with a wood pocket which is designed to hold your will, your wishes for your service and other important papers.         Coffin Resting Box   A coffin can be one of the major costs of a funeral or service.  Using solid pine, I offer a quality, hand crafted coffin as a cost effective alternative.  I refer to these coffins as 'resting boxes'.  I encourage pre-planning in obtaining the resting box as much as possible.  There is a 20% discount benefit for pre-planning.  A rush order would be less than one week.          36 String Paraguayan Harp   A beautiful bright tone is a characteristic of this type of harp.  Allow 2 months for delivery.          Bouquets of Wood Flowers   Using a special process to cut the cones, I then paint and add stems to create very realistic looking flowers.  Will not fade or wilt!          Dolphin Wall Hanging   Using an intarsia technique, this dolphin is cut from cedar and white pine.  Suspended with invisible thread, the dolphin jumps through a brass ring.            Dolphin Family Sculpture   Mother and child dolphins securely mounted on a unique root or drift wood.
